☞ DWELL: 242 West 139th Street Townhouse
OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, March 27th, 1:30 PM- 3:00 PM. Just arriving on the market this week is another Strivers Row house at 242 West 139th Street between FDB/8th Avenue and ACP/7th Avenue. This 17 foot wide landmark house (on one of the most picturesque blocks in the city) appears to have had the deed passed down for the past 3 decades and was currently used as a place of business. Overall there is 3,952 square foot of space in the 2-family home which will probably need some major upgrades seeing that interior photos are not available. There's not much around the surrounding area but a few places like Shrine and Yatenga Bistro have opened up a bit further south. Subways are about 4 blocks away by St. Nicholas Park to the west but having the carriage house-turned-garage in the back of the building might be a more attractive transportation option to a perspective buyer. With all said, the first asking price is now set at $1.195 million.
