☞ DWELL: 369 Manhattan Avenue Townhouse

The old church building on Manhattan Avenue (just below west 116th) has finally gone into contract and it appears that the neighboring townhouse is looking to sell for a similar price.  Number 369 Manhattan Avenue arrived on the market last month and the 4-family, 2,400 square foot building is asking for $1.595 million initially.  At a generous 20 foot wide with modest builder-grade finishes, this house has a one block proximity to the lower FDB corridor and is only a couple of blocks away from the subway.  The exterior isn't so bad looking itself but the double-wide church next door currently went into contract when the price of that property lowered to $1.65 million.  Granted the church property will require a lot work, this townhouse might be different in the sense that it appears ready to rent out for the most part.

  1. and there is no guarantee that the double-wide church property isn’t going to be torn down and something built in its place so I would be leery of buying the place next door.
