☞ DWELL: 30 East 130th Street Brownstone

OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, April 17th by Appointment.  There's a new house up on the market in the residential neighborhood just east of 5th Avenue at 30 East 130th Street.  This one looks like it still is classified as an SRO so the asking price for $1.15 million might be on the high side.  The 18 foot wide 3,200 square foot, cream-painted home is surrounded by some nice townhouses but one has to walk down to 125th Street for the trains and any amenities. Details such as the encaustic tiles in the vestibule are intact but the interior pretty much would need an overhaul to update the rental-grade kitchen and baths. More photos can be found here: LINK. Those interested should contact the broker for an appointment: 347.746.3136

  1. Curious how they'd get 3200 sq. ft. from an 18-footer assuming it is the standard 50-foot depth. My guess is that either it is 3600 sq.ft. or it is a 16-footer.

  3. 17 feet times 50 feet equals 850 times 4, counting the English basement, gives you 3400 sf
