The townhouse located west of St. Nicholas Avenue at 427 West 146th Street arrived on the market at the end of January 2011 and has already closed the deal as of a couple of weeks back. At 14 foot wide, the single-family house is on the narrow side but is located in the lovely Sugar Hill Historic District of West Harlem. Records show that the property was purchased a year ago for $450K and it looks like the previous owner just had some minimal upgrades done to the infrastructure (kitchen and bath photos do not seem to be included). At the asking price of $999K, the townhouse went into contract sometimes in February and has now sold for the final price of $945K.
