It appears that it takes about a month for a sidewalk cafe permit to go through after being reviewed by the community board since Bier International just received the actual green light to start building. Harlem's beer garden at FDB/8th Avenue and 113th Street updated their facebook site yesterday to reveal that the alfresco part of the restaurant should be up this week at the earliest. Nectar Wine Bar up at 121st Street also applied for the permit last month but there has not been any word yet on when that other South Harlem outdoor cafe will be up and running:
