☞ DWELL: 218 Lenox Avenue on the Market
Another corner building in the Mount Morris Park Historic District just appeared on the market and we just noticed the very large sign on the townhouse while walking by the area. On the positive side, the building is a generous 21 foot wide, in a picturesque historic district, has a commercial rental space at the ground floor, is next to some great local boutiques, the park and the express subway. The negative might be that there is a very active funeral parlor next door to the 3-family home so it might be a little odd living at this particular location. Interior finishes of the 4,804 square foot home are pretty much rental grade so the asking price is currently at $1.75 million for this property right at the intersection of West 121st Street. Only the most fabulous funeral parlour ever! When I go I’m going out of Owens and I WILL have the horse-drawn caisson, thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteJust checked out the link. They certainly spared every expense doing this up, didn’t they! Some serious staging may be in order to move this beautiful building.
ReplyDeleteAny idea what the sq. ft is?

ReplyDeleteIs that were "Turning Heads" beauty salon is/was located, are they still there?
