After being on the market since 2009 at a starting asking price of $2.4 million, the house at 294 Manhattan Avenue is finally in contract. So the big question is how much did the price lower down to at this location facing the park and just a block away from the lower FDB corridor at 112th Street?
It took a couple of years, but the price slowly went down until it hit $1.4 million back in May and that seems to have been the right asking for this 20 foot wide, 8-unit, 4,550 square foot building to get a contract out. This rental building has very basic finishes to it and will probably needs a slight renovation to get it back into shape on the inside. The subway at 110th Street is only two blocks away, so the location is very close to transportation.
