The Lexington Social in East Harlem opened up a year ago just north of 103rd Street and now has recently updated its storefront. A downtown, vintage feel was created out front with moldings on the paneling and some nice transoms but there is always room for improvement. The "after" photo after the jump.
Walking by the eatery last week, we noticed that the front of the facade looked a little more dressed. The most notable new element is the striking striped awning with the classic lettering on the solid border trim. A seasonal change of greenery also is an improvement but the signage up top looked little busy in our opinion. With that said, there is definitely better curb appeal here and the restaurant is more noticeable to the average passerby.
