☞ REVIVE: 5 West 120th Street Brownstone
The brownstone in the Mount Morris Park Historic District at 5 West 120th Street was purchased over a year ago and now some much needed facade work appears to be coming about. For the past few months, the infrastructure gutting was at hand and the 20 foot wide, landmark building will soon receive a much needed facelift to restore the decaying exterior. The former SRO is being converted into a 5-family building according to the most recent permits filed back in March so this one looks to be an investment property. Check out our past post on this specific block to learn more about its famous musical heritage when the area was home to some notable families: LINK
