☞ EAT: Even More Jazz in Harlem

It appears that Harlem's new diverse offerings of eateries are embracing its cultural past and throwing live music into the mix.  Anyone walking by lower FDB on Saturday or Sunday will hear distinctive jazz sounds coming from the new Harlem Tavern at 116th Street during brunch hours and we also received more news that another establishment along the corridor will be adding live weekly music.  Lido at FDB and 117th Street is the other new restaurant adding weekly jazz to its lineup and will feature vocalist Mavis "SWAN" Poole every Monday beginning on September 12th.  Another notable restaurant that arrived in the past year that has added jazz to the mix includes the Red Rooster up on Lenox and 126th Street.
