Wednesday, August 17th, 7:30 PM, Performing Tribute 9/11 at the Gatehouse, 150 Convent Avenue at 135th Street. Performing Tribute weaves together the perspectives of five individuals who were separately yet directly impacted by the events of 9/11— family members who lost loved ones; survivors who lived through the bombing of the WTC in 1993 and the attacks on September 11, 2001; an evacuated resident who lived on Liberty Street; FDNY firefighters who responded on September 11, 2001, and a New Jersey resident who volunteered with the Salvation Army during the recovery.
