Sundays, September 18th through December 18th, 9:00 PM-11:00 PM, The Goddess Lakshmi at Paris Blues, 2021 ACP/7th Avenue and 121st Street. The Goddess Lakshmi reconvenes, after a lengthy summer hiatus, at the venerable Paris Blues in Harlem. Band leader René Calvo returns from the psychedelic counter-culture bacchanalia known as "Burning Man" in the Black Rock desert of northern Nevada. His fresh inspiration poured into a new tune entitled Octopus Man. The troupe of troubadours is composed of René Calvo, Electric Guitar/ Vocals, Kosi Gyebi, Vocals, Jeff Bauer, Bass/Vocals and Amos Fischer on Drums/Vocals. This blues rock band plays all original material.
