Thursday, September 22nd, 7:30 PM, Daisy Bates: First Lady of Little Rock screening at the Gatehouse,  150 Convent Avenue at 135th Street.  Daisy Bates - a little known NAACP activist whose public support of the right of nine black students to attend all-white Central High School in Little Rock Arkansas culminated in a constitutional crisis on Capitol Hill. Harlem Stage will  have a screening and discussion with filmmaker Sharon La Cruise at the Gatehouse Theater in Hamilton Heights.
