☞ DWELL: 1805 Amsterdam Avenue Reduced
The theater designed by Thomas W. Lamb was first up for sale in West Harlem back in May at the asking price of $11.5 million and now has since been reduced. This historic theater was used in the past decades as the home to the New Covenant Temple but the building at 1805 Amsterdam Avenue and 149th Street has been empty for the past year or so. Brokers have been trying to sell the 97 foot wide, 36,432 square foot corner building for the past six months and it now appears that a major price cut might make the property move faster. According to Streeteasy, the Hamilton Heights theater has decreased by 24% with a current asking of $8.75 million: LINK.
