☞ REVIVE: Central Harlem Reno Master Bath

One of the most detailed rooms to come together at the Central Harlem reno townhouse is the master bath.  A cast iron tub was installed with brand new cross handle hardware that are exact duplicates of those found a century ago but are brand new.  The homeowner not only had an eye for traditional design elements but also had a sense of what a modern household needs.  A shower has also been placed next to the tub as can be seen in the top photo and there will eventually be two pedestal sinks coming in on the opposite wall. The floors and walls are not finished yet but expect subway tiles to come into the mix in the future.

  1. Looks very nice, I think a bathroom is a place to splurge on finishes, looks like they are doing so here with he tub and faucet set, plus I like the pedestal sinks over a vanity unit. My only criticism thus far is I would have gone for a claw foot tub, but I’m sure this tub is planned to work with the rest of the bathroom.
