The Daily News reports that La Casa Azul bookstore will be opening soon at 143 East 103rd Street in East Harlem. Aurora Anaya-Cerda has had an online business but has spent the past six years in trying to open an actual storefront for the Latino-focused literary shop. Murals by local artist Manny Vega will decorate the facade of La Casa Azul and folks should also expect a place to hang out for coffee and participate in writer's workshops.
