Saturday, April 14th, 11:00 AM, The First Sakura Park Festival, West 122nd Street and Riverside Drive. The original cherry trees at Sakura Park were part of 2,000 donated by the Japanese to the city's parks in 1912 but a couple have disappeared since then. New cherry trees will planted at the event that will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the gift to Sakura Park. Saturday, April 14th,  Art Crawl East Harlem trolley tours, Noon-4:00 PM Tour, 4:00PM-6:00PM Dinner and Music.  The popular Art Crawl trolley tour of local galleries has now introduced an East Harlem event which will roll out in mid April.  A guided tour of six local galleries and evening dinner event go for $55 and tickets may be purchased on line and the organization site: LINK

Sunday, April 15th, 11:00AM-4:00PM, Harlem Little - West Coast Japanese Little League Game at Marcus Garvey Park, 121st Street and Mount Morris Park West.  The First Sakura Park Festival is happening this weekend and the West Coast Japanese Little League alongside the Harlem Little League will be part of the event that celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Japanese gift of cherry trees to West Harlem's Sakura Park. Seattle Mariner pitcher Shigetoshi Hasegawa will be available afterwards as part of a workshop for little league players 10-13 years of age: LINK

Sunday, April 15th, 7:30 PM, The Goddess Lakshmi at Paris Blues, 2021 ACP/7th at West 121st. The Goddess Lakshmi returns to the legendary Paris Blues in Harlem for it's spring into summer season. The band plays all original compositions that range from wistful folk-rock, pop to whiskey bottle blues: LINK
