A Bespoke reader sent in a photo yesterday of Cove Lounge's new signage which was installed apparently before a soft opening of the new Central Harlem business. There were many folks standing out front yesterday and lots of activity inside including a camera crew in the early evening. The front room which is visible to the street did not like it was ready for guests but other reader tips have advised that the main lounge was in the back of the space located at 126th and Lenox Avenue. As far as soft openings go, this appears to have been more of a private one with invited guests only but folks should expect this new spot to fully open in the very near future.
When I walked past last night the inside looked more like a makeshift office than a lounge. I assume they're still a little ways to go before they'll be officially open.
ReplyDeleteCove is opening Wednesday 5.23.12. Everything is ready to go and it's going to be a great addition to the central Harlem area.
