Kehinde Wiley World Stage: Israel is currently showing at the Jewish Museum at 1109 Fifth Avenue by 92nd Street and we were able to catch the show this past weekend. Mr. Wiley started out at the Studio Museum in Harlem and has since then worked on painting portraits of the African Diaspora throughout the world.

This presentation of Mr. Wiley's work goes beyond the basic white walled gallery shows that are usually standard and really encompasses the cultural elements of the museum itself.  Those interested in the artist's work should not miss out on this show which will run up to July 29th at the Jewish Museum: LINK
