☞ SHOP: What's Up with Plick's Waffles & Crepes?
We never got to eat at Plicks's Waffle and Crepes since the small shop opened in the spring of this year and now a Bespoke reader has pointed out that the eatery on Broadway by West 139th Street appears to have been closed for some time. After doing some research, we found out that the West Harlem business is up for sale at this point in time for $40,000: LINK. Based on Yelp reviews, Plick's seems to have been a cheap sweet fix for this part of Hamilton Heights but the business seems to have struggled. Has anyone been to Plick's?

That's sad, but not unexpected. They only sold sweet crepes and waffles. No coffee, no ice cream, no tables to sit at to eat while eating for your food to be made to order. Terrible business plan.
ReplyDeleteThey were open when I walked by on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteThe business was run by 2 brothers. One brother is recently having a new baby, he and his new family decided to move to California. They were trying to sell the business but didn't get any offers that they wanted. The other brother has no interest in maintaining it solely. They are completely closed as of now. If you go by the shop as of this day, there is a lawsuit notice now on the door. The landlord is suing them for a little over $7000 in back payments. Appears they didn't pay rent.
