☞ SEE: Around Harlem this Weekend

Friday, August 17th, 7:00PM-8:30PM, Jazzmobile at Marcus Garvey Park,  Mount Morris Park west and 122nd Street at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater. Jazzmobile's free summer concerts continue this weekend featuring Bobby Sanabria at Marcus Garvey Park. All concerts are weather permitting and subject to change: LINK

Saturday and Sunday, August 18th and 19th, 6:00AM-6:00PM, Harlem Treasure Chest Flea Market, 117th Street and FDB/8th Avenue.  South Harlem's first flea market arrives just in time for the warm weather. Check out the offerings from local antique vendors this weekend: LINK

Saturday, August 18th, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, The Morningside Park Farmers Market at 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue. Drop by the corner of 110th and Manhattan Avenue to check out what's in season at the Morningside Park Farmers Market. These local markets only grow and improve with community support so make sure to visit each Saturday: LINK.

Saturday, August 18th, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, The Mount Morris Park Historic District Farmers Market at 122nd Street and Lenox. The Mount Morris Park Historic District Farmers Market returns for 2012 at a new location right on Lenox Avenue.

Saturday, August 18th, 4:00PM-7:00PM, Art Fair End of Summer Exhibition at Essie Green Galleries, 419A Convent Avenue.  The Essie Green Galleries will be exhibiting works from Alston, Stringfellow, Bearden, Carter, Gunter, Blayton-Taylor, Hardrick, Lam, Holland, Lewis, Mitchell, Dial, Sebree, Neal and Bullock at this current exhibition that will run through September 18th. Sunday, August 19th, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM Jazz at the Harlem Meer, 110th Street (between Lenox and 5th Avenue). Part of the annual Harlem Meer Performance Festival, Chembo Corniel Latin Jazz Quintet will perform at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center. The lakeside performance is free and open to all ages. A few chairs are provided and guests are welcomed to bring a blanket and picnic lunch to enjoy the music from one of the Park's nearby lawns.
