☞ DWELL: 532 West 142nd Street Brownstone

OPEN HOUSE: Saturday, October 20th, 2:00PM-4:00PM.  An 18-foot wide, 2-family brownstone in Hamilton Heights has just arrived on the market at 532 West 142nd Street for the asking price of $1.799 million. This house located east of Broadway is an original detail seeker's dream come true but looks to really need a major overhaul. Everything appears to be intact inside but does not look like it has been touched for the past century or so.  Kitchen and bath photos are also not available so we can only assume those areas will also require some major work.  DOB records show an oil to gas system conversion back in 2009 so at least that part has been updated. West Harlem is finally starting to pick up with a couple of notable new places such as the Chipped Cup and Harlem Public but is this pricing to ambitious for a building that needs a lot of work?  More photos and details on Streeteasy: LINK
