☞ DWELL: 736 St. Nicholas Avenue in Contract

The landmark building at Number 736 St. Nicholas Avenue on Sugar Hill appeared on the market this past March and now has gone into contract as of September.  This 3-family townhouse in West Harlem first arrived with the asking of $1.825 million and was reduced to $1.675 million which seems to have been the right price.  At 20-foot-wide, the townhouse just north of 146th Street has generous proportions and was designed by a notable architect who was also responsible for the Flatiron Building downtown. Location wise, the immediate ares is one of the most architecturally interesting parts of West Harlem and is literally steps away from the express train.  More photos on the broker site: LINK
