☞ DWELL: 213 West 139th Street in Contract
The notable townhouse at Number 213 West 139th Street within the Strivers Row Landmark District has gone into contract just after being only on the market for two weeks. This 5-family building was listed at the end of 2012 for $1.1 million and apparently that was the right price for a quick sale. This McKim, Mead and White building appears to be broken up into rental units so it is unclear on what the interiors looks like currently. More details on Streeteasy: LINK

Not much on the broker site. Pretty good price if it is as big as mentioned.
ReplyDeleteGreat neighborhood. Only getting better. Great price. Wonder if it needs any work.
ReplyDeleteYa think it needs work? A single family home converted to five units and no interior pix on the broker’s site? That’s always a giant red flag.
ReplyDeleteI actually inquired about the building and there are more than five units; there are seven. There are two one bedrooms apartments on floors 2-4 and one family lives on the first floor. It does need some work, not a lot, but still money has to be spent.
