Brooklyn based illustrator Gilber Ford just posted his latest work featuring 1930s Harlem at the Savoy. The story was published in Cricket magazine and tells of a young boy who sneaks into The Savoy one night to check out the music and dancing. We are social acquaintances with Mr. Ford and have admired his work for some time but he went directly to the Schomburg Center to do research instead of consulting with us. Check out the rest of the series at the Gilbert Ford site: LINK
