Some folks really are extravagant with their holiday decor when it comes to brownstones but the more subtle variations are just as appealing and often last throughout the year. Potted plants on townhouse stoops can be decorated with lights and ornaments to get the festive mood going but are also a living garden which does not wither after a couple of weeks. The above evergreen is a good example of this idea being put to use and we have even seen a couple of whimsical topiaries that have been appropriately decorated for the season.
