BESPOKE: HARLEM DESIGNS FOR THE HOME

Sunday, December 14th, 11:00AM to 5:00PM, Sugar Hill Market x Maison d'Art, 259 West 132nd Street within the brownstone garden gallery east of FDB/8th Avenue. Sugar Hill Market will have its final holiday event for 2014 this coming Sunday.  The gift giving assortment at uptown's notable market because is also unique because there is a substantial offering of Harlem home goods such as African wax print placemats, pillows aprons, baby bibs and towels by Royal Jelly Harlem.  Crafted small wood furnishings such as boxes and trays by Ollomatic have iconic images of Harlem heroines.

Then there are the spice sets by Mighty Edible which bring in some island flavors to the kitchen.  For home walls, John Reddick has framed original print artwork featuring some of Harlem's iconic figures which are ready to hang.  All of the above collections are Harlem-based small businesses which happen to be some of the best in comparison to the rest of the city.  Make sure to drop by the final Holiday Market this Sunday to get the unique give from uptown!
