DWELL: 470 WEST 143RD STREET IN CONTRACT
After being on the market just over a month, the limestone townhouse at 470 West 143rd Street now has a contract out based on the initial asking price of $2 million. This location on a block just east of Lower Convent Avenue historic district retains the beauty the neighborhood is known for and the 17-foot wide home has some spectacular original details inside. We expect this one to end up a little higher in price after closing since the asking seemed a little low to us. More photos can be found on the broker site: LINK

Stunning Place !!! LOTS to work with....
ReplyDeleteActually the property was priced correctly as it needs at least $500K+/- to renovate depending on the buyers needs and preferences. I would say more. The $2M ask is the reason we received multiple offers. Bear in mind the pictures online are virtually staged to attract buyers. Since the property is church owned court and attorney general approval is required once the buyer obtains a bank commitment letter which can take approximately 3-6 months thereafter before we can close.
