Number 242 West 132nd Street is back on the market with a 7 percent increase to $1.55 million which is interesting since the SRO status without a Certificate of Non Harassment is not the most attractive detail of this property in Central Harlem. The 17-foot-wide building has quite a mysterious past and we are not familiar with the broker representing the property so interested parties should probably have a great real estate lawyer on hand who is really good at research. With that said, there are not a lot of shells left on the market these days uptown and prices do not seem to be declining either in this particular category. Hopefully whoever comes along to fix this brownstone will also restore the cornice line to the street which is pretty intact except for this address. More details on Streeteasy:
