REVIVE: MORE SCAFFOLDING AT ST. THOMAS
The dramatic church formerly know of St. Thomas just finished up facade restoration last April but now more scaffolding is being set up at this corner of 118th and St. Nicholas Avenue. A local developer had restored the front end of the house of worship for community use and the back lot had plans for condos but nothing has come about yet. As far as the community space goes, we have not heard of any news yet on what might possibly be established within but having an architecturally grand space for events such as wedding, banquets or social events is definitely lacking in Harlem.
