DWELL: 164-168 WEST 136TH STREET SOLD IN MARCH
It took a big price adjustment but when the 3 connected townhouse at 164-168 West 136th Street went down to $3.3 million in December, buyers started to show interests. Considering that the few shells in the neighborhood are going for north of a million these days, this might just be one of the better deals in the uptown brownstone market. Express trains on 135th Street are a couple of blocks away but that might not matter because a car garage is also included at the lower level. We expect the final selling price to be a little higher than the low asking but do not know the details at this point.
