EAT: EGG DISHES AT TASZO ESPRESSO BAR
One of our favorite uptown cafes now serves up some great egg dishes throughout the day. Taszo Espresso Bar just east of the 157th Street Station stop on Broadway has always had a solid selection of pastries and sandwiches but we only recently discovered the egg offerings on an outing in the Heights. Served up open-faced, as omelets or Benedict style are some of the menu items which work very well throughout the day alongside the sweet baked goods shipped in from Balthazar Bakery. Other lunch or brunch alternatives include biscuits, quiches and soups all made fresh on site. We like that a lot of local cafes are expanding their menus since many out there prefer something with a little less sugar when having a brew for the afternoon. More on Taszo can be found in our past post: LINK
