DWELL: 423 WEST 141ST STREET ARRIVES ON MARKET
One of the most striking houses in the Hamilton Heights historic district is now on the market for $2.9 million. The couple that purchased the single-family home 6 years ago did an amazing job updating the look of the interior with soft furnishings but have also kept the history of the landmark townhouse intact. This rare corner address at 423 West 141st Street also faces Hamilton Grange at the intersection of 141st Street and Hamilton Terrace which is also within St. Nicholas Park. As far as original details goes in Manhattan, it seldom gets better than this and the other photos on the broker site are quite breathtaking: LINK

One of the best interiors I have seen, creative while at the same time complementing the historic details. Perfect color choices and good mix of natural alongside of painted woodwork. $2.9 million seems a little low for this masterpiece.
