EAT: LOBSTER ROLLS AT THE GRANGE
Eating anything too hot during the heat wave is not such an enticing idea so we dropped by The Grange on Amsterdam and 141st Street to seek out an alternative for a quick bite. A new summer menu is up and the lobster roll offering really caught our eye at $16 including a side of homestyle chips. Our first impression when the sandwich arrived was that it was much bigger than most that we have tried in the past and that a generous amount of lobster was part of the mix. As far as the chips went, they were a nice addition with the side serving of ketchup but probably were a bit to overly crispy in our opinion. Overall this was a solid choice with fresh ingredients, a visually pleasing presentation and a price point just a bit sharper than a lot of other places in the city. The Grange has improved over the years and this new menu is definitely worth checking out. More on the Hamilton Heights eatery can be found in our past post: LINK
