DWELL: 17 WEST 120TH TOWNHOUSE RETURNS
Number 17 West 120th Street went on the market late 2014 for the asking of $3.75 million but disappeared rather quickly and has now returned for $5 million. This is arguably one of the best blocks in the Mount Morris Park Historic District and Maya Angelou's house just sold for $4 million a few doors down. There are a lot of original details in fantastic condition within the 20-foot-wide brownstone but the one issue here is that this is a multi-unit building. Higher end buyers are usually also looking for a single-family layout but the location might be the biggest selling point here since Whole Foods should be opening nearby in the next 6 months.
