EAT: WHAT'S UP WITH ELMA'S?
Back in February, the rolling gate at the former Kuti's takeout shop indicated that that a new eatery called Elma's would be arriving soon but nothing really appears to be progressing these days. We walked by this block just west of Manhattan Avenue on 116th Street in the past week and everything appears to be the same as it was 6 months ago. A young chef who grew up in the neighborhood reportedly was inspired by his grandmother's cooking and wanted to set up a casual dining establishment at the section of South Harlem by Morningside Park but we have yet to see the interior at this point in time. Any updates out there on Elma's? More details in our past post: LINK
