Construction started at the former Billie's Black space on 119th Street just east of FDB this past may and now the eatery will be opening soon. We walked by the block of the new restaurant yesterday and noticed that the new stripe awning was up and also that the interior was mostly complete. B2 Harlem will apparently be a seafood focused establishment and should be open in the coming week or so. From what we can see so far, this might just be a more updated version of popular downtown spots such as Mermaid Inn and therefore will definitely provide something new in the neighborhood.
