BESPOKE: UNIQUE HOLIDAY EVENT SPACE 2016

We often get inquiries on great rental spaces for big events or Holiday parties this time of year and there a quite a few unique locations in Harlem to consider.  Some of uptown's small businesses will host for the day or evening if plans are made in advance and could be the right spot for a special occasion.   Check out the full recommended venues after the jump
Soloman & Kuff's Rum Hall, 2331 12th Avenue at 133rd Street.  Harlem's newest lounge restaurant by viaduct has river views at the separate front bar which would probably make for a good spot to have a holiday party.  Contact information can be found on Facebook: LINK

Peque,  231 West 145th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue.  The charming boutique tapas in Central Harlem is more on the compact side but has enough seating for an intimate gathering.  More details and contact information on Facebook: LINK

Bier Strasse,   2346 12th Avenue by 133rd Street.   Another option under the viaduct is Bier Strasse which looks like a traditional German Bier Garden with a really cool separate upper level that has amazing views:  LINK

Mess Hall, 2194 Frederick Douglass Boulevard by 118th Street.  One can literally deck the halls of this lodge interior that features reclaimed rafters and hunting trophies.  There is a classic full bar to serve up drinks and small bites along with a nicely appointed outdoor space: LINK

Chaiwali, 274 Lenox Avenue by 124th Street.  Harlem's newest eatery in the Mount Morris Park Historic District is literally in a sumptuous brownstone at the lower levels. The first two floors are actually a restaurant which includes one of the most charming backyards to be found in the neighborhood.  The overall feel is antique Indian with Harlem savoir faire: LINK

Il Caffe Latte 145th Street, 458 West 145th Street by Amsterdam Avenue.  This brownstone space in Hamilton Heights has a second floor rental that has an ambiance of French cafe.  The entire floor can be rented for the evening and guests will be able to experience brownstone style up in the Heights: LINK

The Grange, 1635 Amsterdam Avenue by 141st Street.  Hamilton Heights' favorite restaurant was designed with rustic 19th century details which makes it the perfect spot to warm up spirits for the holidays.  There is a banquet room in the back that is available for smaller private events: LINK

La Maison d'Art, 259 West 132nd by 8th Avenue.   La Maison is a brownstone art gallery and event space that also provides furnishings as part of the rental.  The beautiful sculpture garden in the back is also part of the intimate address which has quite a bit of contemporary charm: LINK

The Morris-Jumel Mansion on top of Sugar Hill.  Manhattan oldest estate has a formal garden in the back and has been popular destination for weddings: LINK
