DWELL: 288 WEST 137TH STREET SOLD HIGHER
Number 288 West 137th Street went up on the market back in April for $2.25 million, had a contract out in August and now Streeteasy confirms that the townhouse closed a bit higher at $2.3 million. As previously mentioned, this single-family home in Central Harlem is on an architecturally intact block and does not appear to need extensive work done within. The townhouse located between 7th and 8th Avenue has a lot of original details and has had the kitchen updated in the past decade (bath photos are not available) but things do look like they should be touched up here and there. Everything is pretty low-key as far as major renovations go and the address is just a couple of blocks away from train stations in both directions. More photos and information can be found on Streeteasy: LINK
