ARCHITECTURE: 63 WEST 130TH STREET
Number 63 West 130th Street on Astor Row by Lenox Avenue finally sold last year for $1.85 million and the long abandoned SRO will finally be fully restored this year. The DOB website now has two permits on file which will convert the 13-unit single room layout into a 2-family house hold which will cost around $300K to finish up. This 20-foot-wide townhouse with its unique mansard roof should really increase in value once things are fixed up and hopeful some of the missing architectural details on the face will be replaces also.
