Loft 142 opened on Broadway by 142nd Street back in 2015 but has shuttered this past December. With that said, some good news is in the works based on a message to our inbox last night. A new proprietor has taken over the cozy corner space and has informed us that
Off The Grid Pub & Grub will be opening the first week of February. The over all concept will be a cozy bar that offers 16 draft beers, draft wine, craft cocktails and a variety of craft whisky in addition to great Mexican American food. This location definitely has a lot of potential and could be the next hot spot for the heights in the coming month so stay tuned for more details as the story develops further. Part of the reason Loft 142 closed is because an employee there was scamming credit card info. This became fairly common knowledge in HH and people started to stay away because of this.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that the Burger King on Broadway at 141 had shuttered as well.:-( So few left in the city. It typically had a good flow of customers?
