Sunday brunch is a big deal in Harlem and yesterday's warm weather really brought out the crowds that also took advantage of the outdoor seating at some of the more notable restaurants in the neighborhood. We walked down Frederick Douglass Boulevard on the blocks below 125th Street and saw brunch enthusiast out in front of Angel of Harlem at the corner 122nd Street which pretty much was same story for a lot of hot spots on the avenue. Italian eatery Lido by 117th Street always seems to be busy on the weekends and specifically prepared for the temperamental spring weather by having a tent installed at the side of restaurant to keep the alfresco diners warm. Even more outdoor tables can be found at Row House on the corner of 115th Street and everything was at capacity by mid afternoon hour. We headed further down to Harlem Food Bar by 114th which debuted outdoor tables back in 2012 soon after the address was open for business and the popular hangout still appears to be doing quite well.
