Harlem Bespoke: We received a tip that a new restaurant will be opening soon in Hamilton Heights just north of
Hogshead Tavern and took a walked over today to that particular block. There is basically a commercial space between two apartment buildings at 142 Hamilton Place and plywood has already been placed up out front with a somewhat prominent announcement in plain view.
This location between 143rd and 144th Street is pretty ideal since it is close to the subway on Broadway and also the express stop at St. Nicholas Avenue. The official L'argot Facebook site mentions that the offerings will be New American but now much else has been revealed:
