Harlem Bespoke: We walked by 701 West 135th Street this week to check out the construction on the 12th Avenue commercial corridor on the north end. As previously reported, a new developer had purchased the entire set of building with plans of creating a group of unique boutique restaurant businesses and lounges. This building actually was an old train station in previous centuries but will become an adaptive reuse complex when all finishes up in the next year or so. With that said, not much has been happening on site since the plywood went up in the fall but all the permits for infrastructure renovations have apparently been approved by the DOB.
