Harlem Bespoke: Some of the brownstones on West 113th Street by Morningside Park have gone through the renovation process over the years but the end results have been a little less accurate. Missing cornices and plastered facade finishes have pretty much erased most of the original design details and the overall look is a little less authentic in our opinion. The uptown trend now is to fully restore what was lost out front since housing sales have hit a record high and buyers tend to be a little more educated in what they are getting at these price points.
