DWELL: 17 WEST 120TH SOLD LOWER
Harlem Bespoke: Number 17 west 120th had a contract out earlier in the month based on the $4.3 million asking and now Streeteasy has revealed that everything closed for a bit lower at $3.75 million. As previously noted, this is arguably one of the best blocks in the Mount Morris Park Historic District and Maya Angelou's house just sold for $4 million a few doors down. There are a lot of original details in fantastic condition within the 20-foot-wide townhouse but the one issue here is that this is a multi-unit building. Higher end buyers are usually also looking for a single-family layout but the location might be the biggest selling point here since Whole Foods and the express trains are only 5 blocks away.
