Harlem Bespoke: The most colorful subway station in the city could arguably be the 191st Street 1 Station stop in the Heights since it literally is a piece of art. Those traversing the 900-foot-long tunnel all have view of the half dozen murals commissioned by the city which have inadvertently become the canvas for local graffiti artists that have also added their signature touch. All of the artwork probably could use a touch up but the overall affect is still quite mesmerizing. Archangel appears to be major tagger in the tunnel at the front end but more demure signatures can be seen throughout the passageway. This is a pretty cool location to film or do a photo shoot at but appears to still be a hidden gem in Washington Heights.
