Harlem Bespoke: Bill's Place at 148 West 133rd Street is now apparently up for sale for $1.79 million. The multi-family townhouse is on the famous speakeasy street located just east of Lenox Avenue and Harlem legends all dropped by back in the day when the address housed
Tillie's Chicken Shack and later on Monette's Supper Club. Bill's Place has been keeping the history alive as a jazz establishment in recent years but now the famous brownstone is up for sale. This street was also know as
Jungle Alley in the 20's and 30's but the famous block has mostly been forgotten by New Yorkers. More photos and information can be found on the broker site:
