Harlem Bespoke: One of the rarely available landmark townhouses on the block of West 144th Street between Convent and Amsterdam Avenue had a contract out back in February 2018 based on a $2.5 million asking but apparently has not closed yet. Number 465 West 144th Street needs a lot of work but the distinct historic district home apparently found a buyer at a record pace but somehow making a final sale has not been so expeditious. Usually a few months seals the deal but a year to close on a property is an outlier. The listing mentions that everything is in a single-family layout but interested investors might want to research the official Certificate of Occupancy since the Streeteasy information sometimes does not always match up:
