BESPOKE: FIRST LOOK KI SMITH GALLERY
Harlem Bespoke: We were finally able to check out the newest gallery in Manhattanville last week which featured the works of Bruno Smith. The Mexican-American artist blends his cultural heritage with pop culture references that create a new contemporary view point that is personal but also familiar. Located just west of 12th Avenue on 125th Street, this new art establishment is just a block away from The Wallach gallery within the new Columbia University Manhattanville campus and about a 10 minute walk away from Gavin Brown galleries on West 127th Street. Dining establishments such as Floridita, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Solomon & Kuff and Bierstrasse are also on 12th Avenue so taking a weekend walk to the area makes the a perfect cultural excursion. More updates on the Ki Smith Gallery can be found on the official instagram site: LINK
